when it comes to workshops, we believe
- art is magic: when art is made from a place of authenticity, vulnerability, humility, and joy, the result is more beautiful and meaningful - every. time. even when it's unfinished!

you're an artist: creativity is in all of us and you're already an artist - even if you're not selling what you make, or don't have experience.
- we're always learning: regardless of our level of experience in a given practice, we're all forever learning together, teachers and students alike. ask all the questions and so will we.
- the process is the prize: the act of creating something (anything) is more important than the anticipated finished product.
- creativity is a swoon for the soul: art is one of the best things you can do for your soul and the community, it's healing and unifying.
it's also important you know that everyone is welcome but as our shop sign says, you gotta act right! we're an inclusive, loving, supportive, and kind space - and we are strong allies for the LGBTQ community - so when you're here, get on board or kick rocks - we have no space for hate.
